Marketing and communications have been my sole career focus, and as a result I have gained “Pro” level status in the discipline. With over 23 years of global, national and regional experience, it is my career passion to leverage marketing with the goal of driving business performance and growth.

Modern Media (2009 – 2018):  Initially joining the agency as Vice President, then assumed the role of President. Led a digital agency team of ~12, overseeing all aspects of service delivery including client services, design, and web development, while managing business profitability.

Managed the integration of digital services with acquiring agency Hawk, before transitioning to an independent consultant.

CIBC (2002 – 2008): Joined the newly formed Customer Marketing Group as Director of Planning, developing strategic marketing plans and responsible for a ~$13 million annual budget. 

As Senior Director, Marketing Communications planned and executed integrated marketing / national campaigns for day-to-day banking services.

Thomas Cook Group (1995 – 2002): Started out in an entry level marketing role in Thomas Cook's Americas Financial Services business and steadily assumed increasing responsibility.

Within 4 years appointed VP Marketing Americas, before being seconded to London England as Head of Global Consumer Marketing and also responsible to develop / roll out a global e-commerce strategy.

On the Personal Side:

Highly driven and strong work ethic forged as a young boy working on the family farm. Grew up on PEI before spreading wings and travelling world, powered by work success and accomplishments.

Proud Dad to teenage daughter and son. Spent many years as a volunteer in the sports community as a long time multi-sport coach, official and board member. In spare time loves the challenge of golf, marathon runs, plays rec hockey and soccer.
